The research is dedicated to select exceptional materials and their expressiveness, enhancing their natural finishes, to reach an objective stylistic authenticity. Unique materials with a story to tell. A story without words, narrated by their ancient, precious, or simply magical physical presence that can transform an encounter into emotion. The series of TEST lamps represents a new chapter of HENGE in the interpretation of light. A project born from the specific choice of Cacciatori to investigate materials that could express and communicate the aesthetic ‘genius’ of the brand. The large TEST-ONE table lamp surprises at the first touch of its body. It evokes a modern cylinder that finds its expression through the different materials. White as the moon in polished Onyx Ice, the stone from a sculptural opalescence transforms into a shining brutalist creation. Mysterious as a dying star with the Rapolano Travertine that lets spreading glimpses from the cavities of the stratifications and the undercut with its crescent characteristic.
